Eligibility Criteria for Jharkhand High Court System Officer, Assistant & Senior Programmer Recruitment 2025
Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications, experience, and age limits as of January 1, 2025.
Educational Qualifications & Experience:
- System Officer (Post Code 1):
- B.E/B.Tech (Computer)/Electronics/IT/MCA or equivalent degree from a recognized AICTE/NAAC/UGC institution.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in any Government project or organization.
- Preference: Candidates with e-Courts Project experience.
- Senior Programmer (Post Code 2):
- B.E/B.Tech/Electronics/IT/M.Sc./MCA from a recognized AICTE/NAAC/UGC institution.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in any Government project or organization.
- Preference: Candidates with e-Courts Project experience.
- System Assistant (Post Code 3):
- Diploma in Computer Science/IT from Polytechnic OR B.C.A OR B.Sc (Computer/IT) OR Bachelor Degree in Maths/Physics/Statistics/Operation Research/Economics with PGDCA from a recognized University.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in any Government project or organization.
- Preference: Candidates with e-Courts Project experience.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):
- System Officer: Minimum 25 years, Maximum 35 years.
- Senior Programmer: Minimum 25 years, Maximum 35 years.
- System Assistant: Minimum 21 years, Maximum 35 years.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years relaxation for candidates with relevant work experience.

Salary & Benefits
Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly remuneration as follows:
- System Officer: ₹ 50,500/- per month
- Senior Programmer: ₹ 50,500/- per month
- System Assistant: ₹ 38,110/- per month
Other Benefits:
- Leave: Entitled to Casual Leave as per Jharkhand State Government employee provisions. No other leave types are applicable.
- Pension: No pensionary benefits are provided for these contractual posts.
- Tenure: The contract period for System Officer and Senior Programmer is until March 31, 2026. For System Assistant, the contract is for 1 year. Both are subject to further notification by the State Government of Jharkhand.
Selection Process
The selection process will be based on merit, determined by the following criteria:
- Interview: 20 Marks
- Educational Qualification: 5 Marks
- System Officer/Senior Programmer: 2 marks for B.E/B.Tech/MCA, 2 marks for other Master’s Degrees, 1 mark for higher education above Master’s.
- System Assistant: 2 marks for basic required qualification, 2 marks for Master’s Degree, 1 mark for higher education above Master’s.
- Experience: 5 Marks (1 Mark for each year of experience, max 5 marks).
Total Marks: 30
Qualifying Marks: 15
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview and Document Verification. Candidates must bring original documents and a copy for verification.
