- Experience Profile: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience (including training period, if any) in the power sector (Coal, Gas, Lignite). This experience should be in Operation/Maintenance/Commissioning/Erection/Engineering or a combination thereof in the relevant discipline in a power plant/power project of capacity 200 MW or above.
B. Deputy Manager (Mechanical) – 70 Posts
- Qualification: B.E/B.Tech Degree in Mechanical/Production with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
- Experience Profile: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience (including training period, if any) in the power sector (Coal, Gas, Lignite). This experience should be in Operation/Maintenance/Commissioning/Erection/Engineering or a combination thereof in the relevant discipline in a power plant/power project of capacity 200 MW or above.
C. Deputy Manager (C&I) – 40 Posts
- Qualification: B.E/B.Tech Degree in Electronics/Control & Instrumentation/Instrumentation with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
- Experience Profile: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience (including training period, if any) in the power sector (Coal, Gas, Lignite). This experience should be in Operation/Maintenance/Commissioning/Erection/Engineering or a combination thereof in the relevant discipline in a power plant/power project of capacity 200 MW or above.
Age Limit
- Upper Age Limit for all posts: 40 years.
- All computations of age, experience, and qualification will be done with respect to the last date of receipt of online application as mentioned in the advertisement.

NTPC Deputy Manager Salary & Benefits (E4 Grade)
Selected candidates will be placed in the E4 Grade with an IDA pay scale of Rs. 70000-200000/-. Besides the basic pay, appointees will be entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), and other allowances and benefits such as HRA/company accommodation, medical facilities, group insurance, and terminal benefits as per company rules in force from time to time.
