Educational Qualification
The educational requirements are different for Science and Other than Science subjects.
Science Subjects:

Other Than Science Subjects:
- Passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects from a recognized education board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
- Passed a two-year Vocational Course from a recognized education board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the Vocational Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject).
Age Limit
- Candidates must be born between 02 July 2005 and 02 January 2009 (both dates inclusive).
- The upper age limit for candidates must be 21 years on the date of enrolment if they clear all stages of the selection procedure.
Marital Status & Physical Standards
- Marital Status: Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible. Candidates must undertake not to marry during the four-year engagement period.
- Height:
- Male Candidates: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms.
- Female Candidates: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cms. A lower minimum height of 147 cms is acceptable for candidates belonging to the North East or hilly regions of Uttarakhand, and 150 cms for candidates from Lakshadweep.
- Weight: Weight should be proportionate to height and age.
- Chest:
- Male Candidates: Minimum chest circumference of 77 cms with a minimum expansion of 05 cms.
- Female Candidates: Well-proportioned chest wall with a minimum expansion of 05 cms.

Agniveer Vayu Salary & Benefits

Indian Air Force Selection Process 2025

- Male Candidates: 1.6 Km run within 7 minutes, 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups, and 20 Squats within the stipulated time.

- Adaptability Test-I (Objective Written Test): To assess the candidate’s suitability for the IAF environment.

Phase III: Medical Examination
- Candidates who clear Phase II will undergo a comprehensive Medical Examination by the Air Force Medical Team as per IAF standards.
