Eligibility Criteria for HPSC Superintendent (Legal) Recruitment 2025
Candidates must meet the following criteria by the application closing date (14.05.2025):
- Educational Qualification: Must possess a B.A. L.L.B. degree.
- Language Proficiency: Knowledge of Hindi up to Matric standard is required.
- Experience: Candidates must have either:
- Held an assignment involving legal work for a period of not less than ten years, OR
- Practiced at the Bar for a period of not less than five years.
- Note: Experience will be counted only after obtaining the minimum essential qualification. Part-time experience is not considered. Relevant experience certificates are mandatory.

- Ex-Servicemen (ESM): Relaxation equal to military service + 3 years

- The upper age limit, after availing relaxation(s), shall not exceed 52 years (except for ESM).
- Nationality: Must be a Citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee (pre-1962), or a person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with the intent of permanently settling in India. Candidates from categories (b) to (e) require a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India.

Salary & Benefits of Superintendent (Legal) Posts Notified by HPSC
Selected candidates will be placed in the Functional Pay Level 8 (FPL-8), corresponding to a pay scale starting at ₹47,600 as per the Haryana Civil Service (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016. Other allowances and benefits will be applicable as per Haryana Government rules.
