- TA01 (Mechanical Engineering):

- B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent with minimum 60% marks AND 1 year relevant experience OR 1 year full-time professional qualification.
- TA03 (Electronics Engineering):
- Diploma (3 years full-time or 2 years lateral entry) in Electronics and Communication Engineering / Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks AND 2 years of relevant experience.
- TA04 (Food Science/Food Technology):
- B.Sc. (Food Science / Food Technology / Food Science & Nutrition) or equivalent with minimum 60% marks AND 1 year relevant experience OR 1 year full-time professional qualification. The specified subject must be a main/core subject.
- TA05 (Microbiology):
- B.Sc. (Microbiology) or equivalent with minimum 60% marks AND 1 year relevant experience OR 1 year full-time professional qualification. The specified subject must be a main/core subject.
- TA06 (Chemistry):
- B.Sc. (Chemistry) or equivalent with minimum 60% marks AND 1 year relevant experience OR 1 year full-time professional qualification. The specified subject must be a main/core subject.
Note: Qualifications must be from recognized institutions, and results declared by the application closing date. Experience calculation starts after acquiring the minimum essential qualification. Part-time, daily wage, or guest faculty experience will not be counted.
2. Age Limit:
- The upper age limit is 28 years as of May 10, 2025.
- Age Relaxations: Applicable as per Government of India/CSIR rules:
- SC/ST: 5 years (for reserved posts).
- OBC (NCL): 3 years (for reserved posts).
- PwBD: 10 years (UR), 13 years (OBC-NCL), 15 years (SC/ST). Disability must be 40% or more.

The selection procedure for the Technical Assistant post involves the following stages:
