DVC Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Dy. Manager (Mechanical) (for Erection):
    • Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engg./Production & Industrial Engg./Thermal/Mechanical & Automation/Power Engineering with minimum 65% marks (60% for SC/ST/PwD).
    • Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience (including Trainee period if regularized in the same org) with at least 3 years in project supervision/management/execution involving erection/testing/commissioning of boilers/turbines/auxiliaries in coal-based thermal power projects (210 MW+). Super critical thermal power station experience is preferable.
  • Dy. Manager (Civil) (for Construction):
    • Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum 65% marks (60% for SC/ST/PwD).
    • Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in Executive cadre (including Trainee period if regularized in the same org) with at least 3 years in project supervision/management/execution in large infrastructure projects/industries, specifically civil works for packages like chimney, Cooling Tower, foundations, CHP, AHP, Railway corridor, switchyard etc. Super critical thermal power station experience is preferable.
  • Dy. Manager (Electrical) (for Erection):
    • Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Electrical, Instrumentation & Control/Power Systems & High Voltage/Power Electronics/Power Engineering with minimum 65% marks (60% for SC/ST/PwD).
    • Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in Executive cadre (including Trainee period if regularized in the same org) with at least 3 years in project supervision/management/execution involving site erection of electrical HT/LT switchgear, substation/protection systems, motors, cables etc. Power sector/super critical thermal power station experience is preferable.
  • Dy. Manager (C&I) (for Erection):
    • Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control/Instrumentation/Applied Electronics & Instrumentation/Electronics & Instrumentation with minimum 65% marks (60% for SC/ST/PwD).
    • Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in Executive cadre (including Trainee period if regularized in the same org) with at least 3 years in continuous process industries (like refineries/power stations) involving C&I Erection/Commissioning/Operation & Maintenance of C&I Systems with experience in DCS/PLC. Experience in coal-based thermal stations with state-of-the-art DCS and super critical stations is preferable.
  • Dy. Manager (Safety):
    • Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Electronics/Control & Instrumentation/Instrumentation with minimum 65% marks (60% for SC/ST/PwD).
    • AND Degree or diploma or certificate in industrial safety from Regional Labour Institute/ Central Labour Institute/ State Labour Institute (West Bengal & Jharkhand only).
    • Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in Executive cadre (including Trainee period if regularized in the same org) with at least 3 years in planning, designing, implementing, and monitoring occupational safety parameters, statutory requirements, ergonomics etc. Knowledge of safety standards & experience in ISO 45001 implementation in thermal power stations is preferable.
  • Dy. Manager (Environment Management):
    • Full-time Graduate Engineering degree in Environment Management (4 Years course) OR Graduate with full-time PG Degree/PG Diploma/M.Sc/M.Tech in Environment Engineering/Environment Science/Environmental System Management with minimum 65% marks (60% for SC/ST/PwBD).
    • Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience with at least 3 years supervising/managing environmental systems, including measurement, monitoring, and control in large industries (power/oil & gas/manufacturing). Knowledge/experience of ash utilization, sustainability initiatives, ISO14001, and statutory environmental compliance is preferred.

Age Limit (as of 15.05.2025)

  • Dy. Manager (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, C&I, Safety): Maximum 35 years.
  • Dy. Manager (Environment Management): Maximum 40 years (including all age relaxation).

Age Relaxation

  • OBC (NCL): 3 years.
  • SC/ST: 5 years.
  • PwBD (General): 10 years.
  • PwBD (OBC-NCL): 13 years.
  • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years.
  • Domiciled in J&K (01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989): 5 years.
  • Ex-Servicemen/Victims of Riots: As per Govt. of India guidelines.
  • Departmental candidates (Permanent Employees): No upper age limit.

Salary and Compensation Package

  • Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level 11 (Rs 67,700-2,08,700/-) [Pre-revised: Rs. 15600-39100 + GP 6600 (PB-03)].
  • Probation: Selected candidates will be on probation for one year.
  • Benefits: Includes Basic Pay, Central Dearness Allowance (CDA), Medical Reimbursement, Leave Travel Allowance, NPS, Conveyance Allowance, Leave Encashment, HRA etc., as per Corporation Rules.

DVC Selection Process 2025

The selection process may involve:

  1. Psychometric Test followed by Personal Interview.
  2. In case of a large number of applications, DVC reserves the right to conduct a Screening Test / Written Test / Trade Test / Skill Test etc..
  3. Document Verification.
  4. Pre-Employment Medical Examination by DVC Medical Board.

  5. Upload Documents: Upload scanned photograph (3.5cm x 3.5cm, max 2MB, clear front view), signature, and relevant certificates like Class X/XII, qualification certificates etc. (Step 2).
  6. Preview & Edit: Preview the application form and edit if necessary (Step 3).
  7. Pay Fee: Pay the application fee online (if applicable) (Step 4).
  8. Submit: Submit the application form along with the payment receipt number (Step 5). Applications cannot be edited after final submission.
  9. Print Application: Take a printout of the submitted online application form (with the system-generated application number) for future reference and document verification.
