Eligibility Criteria for Various Non Teaching Posts Notified by IIT Madras

    • 15 years relevant experience, including 5 years in a supervisory capacity (Level-11 or equivalent) in Govt./PSU, or Major rank (Army) or equivalent in Navy/Air Force/Police.
  • Deputy Registrar:
    • Master’s degree (≥55%).
    • 5 years administrative experience as Assistant Registrar (Level 10) or equivalent in specified organizations.
  • Technical Officer:
    • Master’s in Physiotherapy (Orthopedics specialization) / Occupational Therapy (≥55%) with 5 years experience in Medical Devices Product Development OR Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy (4 years, ≥55%) with 8 years experience in Medical Devices Product Development.
    • Desirable: MBA, experience in managing government projects.
  • Assistant Registrar:
    • Master’s degree (≥55%) with excellent academic record.
    • 8 years relevant supervisory experience in specified organizations.
    • Desirable: Professional qualification (Management/Finance & Accounts), Computer proficiency, relevant administrative experience.
  • Junior Technical Superintendent:
    • Bachelor’s in Biotechnology (4 years, ≥60%) with 5 years relevant experience OR Bachelor’s (3 years) + M.Sc. in Biology/Life Science (≥60%) with 5 years relevant experience.
    • Relevant experience includes bio-analysis protocol establishment, training, equipment utilization, bio-sample handling.

  • Junior Assistant:

Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will be appointed at various Pay Matrix Levels as indicated in the vacancy table.
