Eligibility Criteria for APSC JE (Civil) Fishery Dept.
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Nationality & Residency: Must be an Indian Citizen and a permanent resident of Assam. Proof of residency (PRC for educational purposes or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate) is required.
- Educational Qualification:
- Must possess a 3-year regular Diploma in Civil Engineering / Civil Engineering & Planning / Construction Technology from an AICTE-recognized technical institute.
- Diploma obtained through distance mode is not eligible.
- Candidates must upload all semester/year mark sheets and the final pass certificate.
- Age Limit (as of 01-01-2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years (up to 45 years)
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years (up to 43 years)
- Ex-Servicemen: Maximum age 42 years (Unreserved), with further relaxation of 3 years for OBC/MOBC and 5 years for SC/ST.
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 10 years irrespective of category.
- Small Family Norms: Candidates must submit a declaration as per “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A.

- Apply: Go to the ‘Applicant Section’ => ‘Apply Section’.
