Candidates must ensure they fulfill all eligibility criteria as of June 1, 2025, before applying.
For Security Screener (Fresher)
- Educational Qualification: Graduation from any recognized Board/University/Institution, with a minimum of 60% marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST candidates.
- Candidates must enter the percentage of marks in numeric form only (e.g., 60, 70, 80) and not in CGPA or any other format while filling the online form.
- Age Limit: Should not be more than 27 years as on June 1, 2025.

For Assistant (Security)

Salary Structure and Benefits
Selected candidates for both positions will be engaged on a Fixed Term Contract basis for three years, with remuneration and benefits as detailed below.
Security Screener (Fresher) Remuneration
- Initial Stipend: Provisionally selected candidates, being freshers, will initially receive a stipend of Rs. 15,000/- per month.
- During the stipend period, only one casual leave per month will be applicable on a pro-rata basis.
- If a candidate fails to qualify the requisite training examinations in the first attempt, the monthly stipend will be reduced to Rs. 10,000/-.
- Consolidated Monthly Emoluments (Post-Training & Certification): After successful completion of all required training and examinations, the remuneration will be as follows:
- First Year: Rs. 30,000/- (Fixed Per Month)
- Second Year: Rs. 32,000/- (Fixed Per Month)
- Third Year: Rs. 34,000/- (Fixed Per Month)
- Allowances & Benefits:
- TA/DA/Lodging & Boarding (on tour): Equivalent to three-tier AC rail fare.
- Provident Fund (PF): Contribution equivalent to the ceiling wage of Rs. 15,000/- (i.e., Rs. 1,800 p.m.) as per the prevailing EPF Act.
- Medical Insurance: A maximum of Rs. 10,000/- per annum shall be reimbursed for medical insurance for self & dependent family members, on production of a duly certified tax invoice/receipt, provided they are not receiving medical benefits from other sources.
- Gratuity: As per the Gratuity Act, wherever applicable.
- Leaves: Privilege Leave – 18 per year, 12 Half Pay Leave (sick leave), 9 Casual Leaves, and 2 Restricted Holidays annually after conversion to full monthly remuneration. The contract of three years starts after passing all certification examinations, not from the date of joining on stipend.
Assistant (Security) Remuneration
- Consolidated Monthly Emoluments:
- First Year: Rs. 21,500/- (Fixed)
- Second Year: Rs. 22,000/- (Fixed)
- Third Year: Rs. 22,500/- (Fixed)
- Allowances & Benefits:
- TA/DA/Lodging & Boarding (on tour): Equivalent to actual fare by Ordinary Public Bus or Train fare of Sleeper Class.
- Medical Insurance: A maximum of Rs. 10,000/- per annum shall be reimbursed for medical insurance for self & dependent family members, on production of a duly certified tax invoice/receipt.
- Gratuity: As per the Gratuity Act, if/as applicable.
- Leaves: Privilege Leave – 18 in a year, 12 Half Pay Leave, 9 Casual Leaves, and 2 Restricted Holidays.
AAICLAS Selection Process 2025
The selection process for both positions will primarily involve:
- Online Application: Eligible candidates must fill the online application form through the official AAICLAS website under the “career” column.
- Shortlisting:
- Security Screener (Fresher): Candidates with a higher percentage of marks at the Graduation level will be called first for online interaction.
- Assistant (Security): Candidates with a higher percentage of marks in the 12th Standard will be called first for online interaction.
- Online Interaction (Interview): Shortlisted candidates will be called for an online personal interaction. The date and time will be communicated via registered email and the AAICLAS website. Merely appearing in the interview does not reserve any right for selection.
- Document Verification: Selected candidates will need to produce original documents pertaining to nationality, age, educational qualifications, caste/category, etc., at the time of joining.
Specifics for Security Screener (Fresher)
- Medical Fitness: Shortlisted candidates must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate, including eye/color blindness examination, unimpaired vision and hearing, ability to recognize objects highlighted by X-ray equipment, good oral and written communication skills, and good physical strength before engagement.
- Mandatory Training:
- Selected candidates will undergo a series of trainings including AVSEC Induction, On-the-Job Training (OJT) at the airport, AVSEC BASIC Course, Screener’s pre-certification course, and Testing & Certification of Screener conducted by BCAS.
- AAICLAS will bear the expenses for the first attempt at these trainings, including TA/DA.
- A maximum of two attempts will be given to qualify these examinations.
- Failure in the first attempt will lead to a reduction in stipend to Rs. 10,000/- per month. For the second attempt, all training costs, including TA/DA and accommodation, must be borne by the candidate.
- Failure to qualify in the second attempt will result in termination of the fixed-term contract.
- Surety Bond: After selection, candidates must provide a surety bond of Rs. 1,50,000/- on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100/- (duly notarized). This bond stipulates that if the candidate does not complete the 3-year engagement period after training, they shall refund Rs. 1,50,000/- to AAICLAS.

- Job Profile Consideration: The job involves lifting baggage from conveyor belts and X-ray machines. Candidates not willing to perform such work are advised not to apply.

Job Profile Overview
Security Screener (Fresher)
The selected candidates will be responsible for the screening of Cargo & In-line Hold Baggage using technical or other means to identify prohibited items and carry out other security functions at Airport & Cargo Complexes.
Assistant (Security)
The job profile includes assisting in operational works at the Airport, helping with passenger baggage handling, loading and unloading of baggage, and other multi-tasking operational work activities as assigned. This work involves lifting baggage from conveyor belts and X-ray machines.
