Eligibility Criteria for ECIL Recruitment 2025

Candidates attending the walk-in interview must fulfill the following educational and experience criteria as of the date of selection.

Educational Qualification

  • Project Engineer (PE-C): First Class BE/B.Tech in CSE / IT / ECE / EEE / E&I / Instrumentation / Mechanical with at least 60% marks.
  • Technical Officer (TO-C): First Class BE/B.Tech in relevant engineering discipline with at least 60% marks.
  • Assistant Project Engineer (APE-C): First Class Diploma in Electronics / ECE / Electrical / EEE / Instrumentation / E&I / Mechanical with at least 60% marks.
  • Note: 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.

Experience Required

  • Project Engineer (PE-C): Minimum 3 Years of post-qualification experience in relevant fields (Security Systems, Networking, Maintenance, etc.).
  • Technical Officer (TO-C): Minimum 1 Year of post-qualification experience.
  • Assistant Project Engineer (APE-C): Minimum 1 Year of post-qualification experience.
  • Note: 1 year of Apprenticeship is considered as experience.

Age Limit (As on Selection Date)

  • Project Engineer (PE-C): Maximum 33 Years.
  • Technical Officer / Assistant Project Engineer: Maximum 30 Years.

Salary and Benefits

Project Engineer (PE-C):

  • 1st Year: ₹40,000 / month
  • 2nd Year: ₹45,000 / month
  • 3rd Year: ₹50,000 / month
  • 4th Year: ₹55,000 / month
  • Attire Allowance: ₹8,400 (One time after 6 months).

Technical Officer (TO-C) & Assistant Project Engineer (APE-C):

  • 1st Year: ₹25,000 / month
  • 2nd Year: ₹28,000 / month
  • 3rd & 4th Year: ₹31,000 / month

Selection Process Explained

The selection is not just based on the interview; your marks and experience also carry significant weightage.

  • Qualification (20%): Based on aggregate percentage in B.Tech/Diploma.
  • Relevant Experience (30%):
    • For PE-C: 15 marks for initial 3 years + 5 marks for each extra year (Max 30).
    • For TO-C/APE-C: 10 marks for initial 1 year + 10 marks for each extra year (Max 30).
  • Personal Interview (50%): Assesses technical knowledge and suitability.
