Update (released 24 September 2026): Dear aspirants, the Reserve Bank of India has declared the RBI Assistant Mains Result 2026 for the Main Examination held on 07 June 2026 (Recruitment for the post of Assistant – Panel Year 2025). The result PDF is titled “List of Roll No. of Short Listed Candidates for Language Proficiency Test”. It lists, office by office, the roll numbers of candidates who move on to the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The PDF carries roll numbers only. It does not print marks, cut-offs or names.
How to check: open the result PDF, go to the section for the RBI office you applied to, and search (Ctrl+F, or your phone PDF viewer search) for your 10-digit roll number. If your roll number is in the list, you are shortlisted for the LPT.

Update (28 May 2026): Dear aspirants, the wait is finally over — the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the much-awaited Main Examination Admit Card for the RBI Assistant Recruitment 2026. Candidates who cleared the Preliminary Examination (held on 11, 13 & 30 April 2026) and were shortlisted in the Pre Result declared earlier this month can now download their Main Exam Hall Ticket from the official RBI Opportunities portal. RBI Assistant 2026 Preliminary Exam Rescheduled to 30 April — Imphal & Kakching Candidates
Good news dear aspirants — the Reserve Bank of India has now fixed 30 April 2026 (Thursday) as the revised date for the RBI Assistant 2025 Preliminary Online Examination, but only for candidates whose exam centres were Imphal and Kakching. This is being done keeping in mind the law and order situation in Manipur. Fresh call letters will be issued separately from the RBI website and email/SMS will also be sent once uploaded. RBI Assistant 2026: Preliminary Exam Postponed for Manipur Centres — Latest Update
The Reserve Bank of India has postponed the preliminary examination scheduled for 11 & 13 April 2026 for Imphal and Kakching centres in Manipur only, due to the curfew imposed by the Manipur State Government. Update (9 March 2026): The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has extended the last date to apply for RBI Assistant Recruitment 2026.
