Check These Before You Apply
- Local candidates only at SPSC: the Accounts Clerk and Sub Inspector notices ask for a Sikkim Subject Certificate or Certificate of Identification and a valid Local Employment Card. The High Court’s IT posts ask only for Indian citizenship.
- State language and computer skills: both SPSC notices want knowledge of one of Sikkim’s State languages. The Accounts Clerk notice adds that you must read, write and speak it and know local customs, and asks for a computer course of at least three months.
- Age limits: as per their latest notices, Accounts Clerk takes 18–40, Sub Inspector 18–25 for open-market candidates, and the High Court’s IT posts 18–30. Check yours with the age calculator.
