Eligibility Criteria for HURL Recruitment

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Nationality: Must be an Indian National.
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Qualifications must be full-time and regular from an Indian university/institute recognized by AICTE/UGC or appropriate statutory authority. Qualifications via Distance Learning mode are not eligible.
    • Executives: Generally require a full-time regular Engineering Degree in the relevant discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, etc.) with minimum 60% marks. For Contracts & Materials Manager, an MBA or PG Diploma (equivalent to MBA) in Materials Management with 60% marks is also acceptable.
    • Non-Unionised Supervisors (Jr. Engineer Assistant II): Require a Three Years Full Time Diploma in the relevant Engineering field (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation) or B.Sc (PCM) for Chemical Operations, with a minimum of 50% marks.
    • Candidates must provide proof of equivalence if CGPA/OGPA is awarded instead of percentage.
  • Age Limit: The upper age limit varies by post (ranging from 30 to 44 years) as specified in the tables above. The cut-off date for determining age is March 31, 2025.
  • Experience:
    • Post-qualification work experience is required, varying from 2 to 16 years depending on the position.
    • Experience should be relevant to the job description for the applied post. Detailed job descriptions are available on the HURL website.
    • Experience as a Management Trainee/GET is counted only if regularized in the same company. Teaching, part-time jobs, apprenticeship, internship, and articleship are not counted.
    • Candidates must be working as of the cut-off date (31.03.2025).

Selection Process
