Age Relaxation: Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen and other reserved categories as per UGC/Govt. of India guidelines. Regular employees of Central/State Govt./Central Universities etc., are also eligible for age relaxation as per government rules. Departmental candidates (Group C and erstwhile Group D) with three years of continuous regular service in the university may have age relaxation up to 40 years (General) and 45 years (SC/ST).
