Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Internal Audit Officer (on Deputation):
- Officers from Audit and Accounts Services or similar organized Accounts Services (Central/State Govt.) holding analogous posts regularly. OR
- 3 years regular service in Level-11 in Audit and Accounts (Govt./Autonomous Bodies). OR
- 5 years regular service in Level-10 in Audit and Accounts (Govt./Autonomous Bodies).
- Assistant Registrar:
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- Assistant:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- 3 years’ experience as UDC or equivalent (Level-4) in Central/State Govt./University/PSU/Autonomous Bodies or equivalent pay in reputed private companies (turnover ≥ Rs. 200 Crores).
- Proficiency in typing, computer applications, noting, and drafting.
- Laboratory Assistant (Physics):
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics.
- Minimum 2 years of working and maintenance experience with sophisticated scientific instruments in a laboratory (University/Research Establishment/Central/State Govt./PSU/Autonomous bodies or private organization with turnover ≥ Rs. 200 Crores).
- Junior Accountant:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- 2 years’ experience as LDC or equivalent in University/Research Establishment/Central/State Govt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies or equivalent pay in reputed private companies/corporate banks (turnover ≥ Rs. 200 Crores).
- Typing Speed: English @ 35 WPM or Hindi @ 30 WPM.
- Proficiency in computer operations.
- Upper Division Clerk (UDC):
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.

Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PWD (10 years), Government Servants, Ex-servicemen, and internal candidates. Age relaxation is generally not applicable for reserved category candidates applying against Unreserved (UR) posts, except for PWD candidates.

Selection Process
The selection process will adhere to the provisions under Ordinance No. 33 (Tezpur University Cadre Recruitment Rules for Non-teaching and Other Academic Posts 2022).
- Shortlisting: Based on minimum eligibility criteria. The decision of the Screening Committee will be final.
- Written Test / Skill Test: Applicable for Group B and C posts (Assistant, Laboratory Assistant, Junior Accountant, UDC, LDC, MTS). Personal interviews for these posts have been discontinued.
- Personal Interview: Applicable for Group-A posts (Internal Audit Officer, Assistant Registrar).
- Document Verification: For selected candidates.
- Details regarding the Written Test / Skill Test / Interview structure will be notified by the University in due course.
