HRA is paid at 20% of the fellowship for every post except JRA, whose pay is listed without HRA. The higher rate for Project Associate-I and II applies only if you qualified CSIR-UGC, ICMR or ICAR NET, GATE or a national-level exam held by a central government body, and your fellowship or score is still valid on the interview date. Project Scientist-I also gets a 5% increment for every 2 years of experience in the same project.
