Eligibility Criteria: DRDO Apprentice 2025

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for the DRDO DESIDOC Apprenticeship:

Educational Qualification:

  • Library & Information Science (Graduate Apprentice): Graduation + Degree in Library & Information Science (One year) from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Library & Information Science (Technician Apprentice): Three Years Diploma in Library & Information Science from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Computer Science (Technician Apprentice): Three Years Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Photography/Videography (Technician/Trade Apprentice): Three Years Diploma in Photography or Videography / ITI Certificate from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Printing Technology (Technician Apprentice): Three Years Diploma in Printing Technology from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Passing Year: Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination in 2022, 2023, or 2024 only. Those who passed earlier than 2022 are not eligible.
  • Mode of Education: Must have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates.
  • Prior Experience/Training: Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or have one year or more of job experience after obtaining the essential qualification are NOT eligible.

Selection Process: DRDO Apprentice 2025

The selection procedure for the DRDO DESIDOC apprenticeship involves the following stages:
