Educational Qualification
- Dean, Goa College of Veterinary: Master’s Degree in Veterinary & Animal Sciences with 55% marks, Ph.D. in Veterinary Sciences, registration with VCI/State Veterinary Council, and at least 15 years experience of Teaching/Research as Professor/Associate Professor. Research publications as per UGC norms required.
- Lecturer (Goa Medical College): Recognized medical qualification under Indian Medical Council Act 1956, PG degree in the concerned specialty from NMC-recognized institution, and at least 3 years experience as Senior Resident/Registrar/Tutor/Demonstrator after PG degree.
- Medico Legal Officer: Recognized medical qualification under Indian Medical Council Act 1956, PG degree/diploma in the specialty, and 3 years experience after PG degree (5 years after PG diploma).
- Lecturer (Govt Polytechnic — Engineering): First Class Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology.
- Lecturer (Govt Polytechnic — Chemistry/Maths): Master’s Degree with minimum First Class in the appropriate branch of Humanities and Sciences.
- Mamlatdar/Jt. Mamlatdar/Vigilance Officer: Degree in Law from a recognized University, knowledge of local revenue laws, laws governing maintenance of law and order, planning and development works.
- Knowledge of Konkani is essential for all posts. Knowledge of Marathi is desirable.

Shortlisting & Interview
Prescribed qualifications are minimum and mere possession does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Where the number of applications is large, GPSC will shortlist candidates as per its instructions. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview before the Selection Committee. Knowledge of Konkani may be relaxed for Group A posts in Professional Colleges and Consultants in the Directorate of Health Services if suitable candidates are not available.
