HAL Apprentice 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For BE/BTech Engineering Graduates:
– Must have passed BE/BTech degree in the relevant engineering stream
– Degree must be from a recognized University in India
– Must have graduated on or after 01 April 2021

For Diploma Holders:
– Must have passed Diploma in Engineering in the relevant stream
– From a recognized University/Institution in India
– Must have graduated on or after 01 April 2021

For Non-Engineering Graduates:
– Must have passed BA / B.Com / BBA in the relevant stream
– From a recognized University in India
– Must have graduated on or after 01 April 2021

Who is NOT Eligible:
– Candidates who have already undergone / are undergoing / have registered for NATS contract elsewhere
– Candidates with 1 year or more work experience are not eligible
– This is strictly for fresh graduates/diploma holders

Age Limit

There is no specific age limit mentioned in the notification. However, since the eligibility requires graduation on or after 01/04/2021, typically candidates up to 28-30 years are eligible.

What is the Stipend for HAL NATS Apprentice 2026?

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend for the full 12 months of training.

The selection is straightforward and based on first come, first serve with preference given to candidates higher on the Merit List.

Walk-In Selection

  • Candidates must appear in person at the venue on the designated date for their category
  • Reporting time: 08:00 to 12:00 hrs — arrive as early as possible
  • Selection is based on merit (academic marks in degree/diploma)
  • It is first come, first serve — so reach early!

Document Verification (At Walk-In Venue)

Candidates must carry the following original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies and two passport-size colour photographs:

  • Degree / Diploma Certificate (or Provisional Certificate)
