Good news for psychology, management and commerce graduates. Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya has released its October 2026 non-faculty notification under Advt NT 2026-10. It has three fixed posts, CEO – INSPIRE (1), Assistant Student Counsellor (1) and Wellness Coordinator (1), plus seven trainee roles filled from a candidate pool. The notification gives no number of vacancies for the trainee pool, so we do not quote a grand total.
This is a fresh cycle, separate from the June 2026 notification. The notification says candidates who applied against earlier advertisements need to apply again. What will you actually do? The Assistant Student Counsellor supports the mental and physical health and emotional well-being of students and does clinical counselling. The Wellness Coordinator is a first point of contact in emotional emergencies and works under a reporting officer. The CEO – INSPIRE runs the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, including project management for incubatees. Trainee duties range from academic and research support to office upkeep work.

Look at the category column. The Assistant Student Counsellor seat is NC-OBC, so a general category candidate has no Unreserved seat in that post. The CEO and Wellness Coordinator seats are UR. The notification also says the Reservation Policy applies as per Government of India Rules.

Educational Qualification and Experience
All qualifications must be from a UGC recognised University or Deemed University, or an AICTE approved autonomous institution (wherever applicable). Courses of autonomous institutions must be equivalent to the course approved by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Several items are only desirable, not compulsory, so do not rule yourself out because of them. For the two counselling posts these are extra certification in Mental Health or Wellness and comfort with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The Wellness Coordinator post also prefers fluency in Hindi and English and some exposure to a residential campus. For the IT trainee, knowledge of web technologies such as PHP-MySQL is desirable, and for the Yoga Trainee a certificate or diploma in yoga is desirable. The CEO post lists MBA and Learning Management System knowledge as desirable too, although the essential bar is a Post-Graduate degree with 55%.
Marks can also be an equivalent grade point average where the notification says so. Experience as a part-time worker or on daily wages will not be counted for shortlisting, so check your own experience letters carefully before you apply.

Trainee stipend depends on qualification and experience. In addition to basic pay, staff get allowances as per IIM Bodh Gaya HR Policy or CCS Rules as applicable. Contract terms differ by post. The CEO contract is initially for two years and extendable yearly depending on performance and requirement. Trainee contracts run for one year, extendable on performance. Regular appointments carry a probation period of 2 years.
