Salary / Pay Scale for Candidates Selected Through JAG Entry in Indian Army

Successful candidates through the Indian Army JAG Entry will receive a stipend of Rs. 56,100/- per month during their training period at OTA. After successful completion of the training, candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenants in the Indian Army with a pay scale of Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500/-. In addition to the base pay, officers are also entitled to various allowances such as Military Service Pay (MSP) (Rs. 15,000/- Per Month), Dearness Allowance, Para Allowance, Project Allowance, Uniform Allowance etc.
