For the IT post, the B.E. or B.Tech. branches are Computer Science, IT, Networks, or Electronics and Communication. The M.Tech. options are Cyber Security or Network Management. Law graduates and computer and IT candidates should check their exact degree name against this list.

The rule that decides everything: only candidates with at least two years (730 days) of relevant post-qualification experience in the National Highways Sector can apply. Note on the pay figures: the notice gives two ranges. Section E says Rs 80,000 to Rs 1,50,000 per month, but the Annexure I slabs above run from Rs 80,000 to Rs 1,22,000. The notice says the exact fee is decided and approved by the Competent Authority, so confirm the top figure with NHIDCL before you plan around it.
Experience is weighted. Years in the National Highways sector count fully (factor 1.00), and years in any other government body, PSU or private organisation count at factor 0.65. So 3 years in highways plus 3 years elsewhere is counted as 4.95 years, which gives Rs 92,000. This weighting is only for deciding the fee; it does not change the 730-day eligibility rule.
