The notice of 16 September 2026 gives three possible statuses, and what you do next depends on which one you see. RRB has not released any number of how many candidates fall under each status, so treat only your own login screen as the answer for you. Here is what each status tells you.

RRB has also kept the right to rectify any inadvertent error or typographical or printing mistake in the list of provisionally eligible candidates, so your screen can change if a mistake is corrected.

What Are the Aadhaar and Exam-Day Rules for RRB Section Controller CBT 2026?

What is the Salary for RRB Section Controller 2026?
The Section Controller post is placed in Level 6 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, with an initial basic pay of ₹35,400 per month. Over the career, the pay in this level grows from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400, and on top of the basic pay you also get regular railway allowances.
