Advt 10/2026 has 140 openings at Mumbai / Navi Mumbai and Advt 11/2026 has 34 openings at Kolkata. First, your marks in the qualifying degree, diploma or ITI are screened against the 55% minimum. A written test, where there is one, is held online (CBT) or in person, and 50% or above qualifies you. Candidates are ordinarily shortlisted for the online interview at 1:6 or more, and for the in-person interview at 1:3 or more. For posts without a written round, shortlisting is on your qualifying-exam marks, ordinarily at 1:6 or more.
An in-person interview (or, for Scientific/Technical Assistants, a skill test) is mandatory; final selection uses only those marks. The syllabus follows the general curriculum of government universities and colleges for your course.
