NEEPCO Executive Trainee Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates aspiring to apply for the NEEPCO Executive Trainee positions must fulfill the specified eligibility criteria regarding education and age limit.
Educational Qualification:
- Executive Trainee (Finance) (E-2 Grade): Must have passed the final exam of CA (conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) /CMA (Previously ICWA) (conducted by Institute of Cost Accountants of India) and the Candidate must also have a Membership Certificate.
- Executive Trainee (Hindi) (E-2 Grade): Master’s degree or equivalent in Hindi from a recognized university with English as one of the subjects at the Graduate level OR Master’s Degree in English from a recognized university with Hindi as one of the subjects at the Graduate level OR Master’s Degree or equivalent in any subject from a recognized university with Hindi and English as subjects at the Graduate level OR Master’s Degree or equivalent in any subject from a recognized University with English as the medium of instruction and Hindi as one subject at the graduation Level AND UGC-NET (Hindi) (December 2024 Cycle).
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025):
- Executive Trainee (Finance):
- UR: 30 years
- ST: 35 years
- Executive Trainee (Hindi):
- UR: 30 years
- OBC (NCL): 33 years
- Relaxations in the upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/ESM/PwBDs will be allowed as per Government of India guidelines.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates ordinarily domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 will also be allowed as per Govt. of India guidelines.

NEEPCO Executive Trainee Salary & Benefits
Selected candidates will be placed in the IDA pay scale of ₹50,000-3%-1,60,000/-. The monthly emoluments will include:
- Basic Pay: ₹50,000/-
- Dearness Allowance (DA) of Basic Pay as on date
- House Rent Allowance (HRA) at the applicable rate (where Corporation accommodation is not available)
- Cafeteria Allowance @ 35% of Basic Pay
- Location Based Allowance (LBA) @ 10% of Basic Pay
- Provident Fund contribution: 12% of Basic Pay plus DA
- NEEPCO Employees Defined Contribution Superannuation Scheme (NEDCSS): 9% of Basic Pay plus DA
The minimum monthly emoluments will be around ₹1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh Approx.). Other benefits such as Leave, Medical Benefit for self and dependent family members, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Gratuity (as applicable), Uniform, communication expenses & furniture reimbursement as applicable in the grade will be admissible as per Company Rules in force from time to time.
Selected candidates shall undergo one-year training. On successful completion of training, they will be placed in E-3 Grade.
NEEPCO Executive Trainee Selection Process 2025
The selection process for NEEPCO Executive Trainees will consist of:
- Scrutiny of Online Application: Applications will be screened for eligibility.
- Online/Offline Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal Interview. The mode (online/offline) will be decided by the Management.
- Shortlisting for Interview:
- Executive Trainee (Finance): Based on the score secured in CA/CMA. Candidates must have CA / CMA & Membership Certificate.
- Executive Trainee (Hindi): Based on the score secured in UGC-NET (Hindi) (December 2024 Cycle). Candidates must have appeared and qualified in this exam.
- Personal Interview: The interview will assess General Knowledge, Aptitude for the Job, Extra-Curricular activities, and Professional Specific Knowledge.
- Final Merit: The Offer of Appointment shall be issued to suitable candidates in order of merit and based on requirements. In case of a tie in marks, the candidate older in age will be given preference.
