Eligibility Criteria for DPA Trainee Recruitment 2025

  • Graduate Trainee (Commerce): B.Com.

Candidates must ensure they meet these basic criteria. They must also produce relevant original documents pertaining to category, nationality, age, and educational qualifications, along with photocopies, during the engagement process. 

Important Dates for DPA Recruitment 2025

  • Notification Date: June 3, 2025 
  • Application Start Date: Applications are invited from the date of notification.
  • Last Date for Receipt of Application: July 4, 2025 
  • Exam Date: No examination will be held; selection is merit-based. 

Applications received after the specified deadline will be summarily rejected. 

Salary & Benefits: What DPA Trainees Can Expect

Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly remuneration during their training period.

  • Management Trainee: ₹25,000/- per month. 
  • Graduate Trainee: ₹20,000/- per month. 

Tenure of Training

  • The period of training will initially be for 11 months. 
  • This tenure is extendable by one more term based on the satisfactory performance of the trainee. 

Selection Process for Deendayal Port Authority Trainees

The selection of trainees at Deendayal Port Authority will be conducted with transparency and fairness.

  • Merit-Based Selection: Trainees will be selected purely on the basis of merit only. 
  • No Interview: No interview will be held for these positions. 
  • Calculation of Merit: The merit list will be prepared based on the ‘Final percentage of marks attained in the respective educational qualification required for each discipline’. 
    • Candidates are advised to convert their CGPA/CP/Grade/Scale/Point or any other score into a percentage (%) score as per the conversion rules of their respective universities/institutes and mention it in the application form. The candidate is solely responsible for the correctness of these marks/percentages. Failure to convert CGPA to percentage as required will lead to the application not being considered. 
  • Merit List Publication: The merit list(s) will be uploaded on the DPA website: www.deendayalport.gov.in. 
  • Document Verification: Provisionally selected candidates will be informed for document verification through their registered E-mail ID. 
    • If a candidate from the merit list does not appear for document verification on the specified date, or if their application details are found to be incorrect, false, or incomplete, their candidature will be rejected. The next applicant(s) on the merit list will then be considered. No requests regarding this will be entertained. 

Candidates who have already availed training or joined DPA in the past will not be considered for these positions. 

How to Apply for DPA Trainee Recruitment 2025

The application process for the Deendayal Port Authority Trainee roles is offline. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Download the Application Form: The prescribed application format (Annexure-I) is available on the Deendayal Port Authority’s official website and link is also provided at the end of this article.
  2. Fill the Application Form: The application form must be duly filled (typed in). Ensure all details, especially educational qualifications (in descending order ) and percentage of marks (CGPA converted to percentage ), are correctly entered.
  3. Affix Photograph: Affix a recent passport-size photograph on the right-hand corner of the application form. 
  4. Attach Self-Attested Copies: Include self-attested copies of the following certificates/documents:
    • Certificates of education/professional qualifications (in descending order) 
    • Proof of Date of Birth 
    • Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/General) 
    • Any other relevant documents 
  5. Declaration: Sign the declaration at the end of the application form. 
  6. Submission: Send the completed application form along with all enclosures to the following address so as to reach on or before July 4, 2025:
