Eligibility Criteria for CSIR CRRI Recruitment

Candidates must ensure they meet the specific educational and age criteria as of the closing date (23.02.2026).

Educational Qualification

  • Junior Hindi Translator (JHT): Master’s Degree in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as a compulsory subject OR Master’s in any subject with Hindi/English medium. PLUS Recognized Diploma/Certificate in Translation or 2 years of experience.
  • Security Assistant: Ex-servicemen / JCO in Army or equivalent in Paramilitary Forces with 5 years of experience in security work.
  • Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Matriculation (10th Pass) or equivalent from a recognized board. (Desirable: 12th Pass).

Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a competitive salary under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) along with other government benefits.

  • JHT & Security Assistant (Level-6):
    • Pay Scale: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400
    • Gross Salary: With Basic Pay of ₹35,400, plus Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) (27% in Delhi), and Transport Allowance (TA), the initial gross salary will be substantial, ranging approx ₹60,000 – ₹70,000 per month.
  • Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) (Level-1):
    • Pay Scale: ₹18,000 – ₹56,900
    • Gross Salary: Starting with a Basic Pay of ₹18,000, the gross monthly salary including allowances will be approx ₹32,000 – ₹35,000.
  • Allowances: DA, HRA, TA, Medical Expenses, Leave Travel Concession (LTC), and coverage under the National Pension System (NPS).

Selection Process Explained
