Eligibility Criteria for CSIR NAL Apprenticeship
Candidates must meet the following educational and other requirements to attend the walk-in interview.
Educational Qualification
- For Graduate Trainee: Degree in Engineering/Technology (Regular – Full Time) in the relevant discipline granted by a recognized University/Institution.
- For Diploma Trainee: Three years Diploma in Engineering/Technology (Regular – Full Time) in the relevant discipline granted by a recognized University/Institution.
- Note: Only candidates who have passed within the last five years are eligible.
Other Conditions
- Candidates must be registered on the NATS Portal (nats.education.gov.in).
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training are NOT eligible.
- Candidates with one year or more work experience are NOT eligible.
- Final year students awaiting results are NOT eligible.
Age Limit
- Age limit will be followed as per the existing Apprenticeship Rules.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on the performance in the Walk-in-Interview.
- Verification of original documents will be done at the venue.
- The training period is strictly for one year.

Candidates must report to the venue on the specified dates for registration and document verification.
- Reporting Time: 08:30 AM to 09:30 AM (No registration after 09:30 AM).
