Eligibility Criteria for IRCON Apprentice Posts
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria as of 01.01.2026:
Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice: Full-time Graduate Degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant branch (Civil/Electrical/S&T) from a recognized University/Institute.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: Full-time Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the relevant branch (Civil/Electrical/S&T) from a recognized Institute.
- Year of Passing: Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination in 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are only eligible.
Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Age Relaxation: 5 Years for SC/ST and 3 Years for OBC (NCL) candidates.
Stipend and Training Duration
Selected candidates will be engaged for a period of one year and will receive a consolidated monthly stipend.
- Graduate Apprentices: ₹ 10,000/- Per Month.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: ₹ 8,500/- Per Month.
- Duration: 1 Year.
Selection Process
The selection will be strictly based on merit.
- Merit List: There will be No Interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks/percentage secured in the essential educational qualification (Degree/Diploma).
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
