No. 04/2026, dated 10.03.2026) for recruitment to 80 posts of Assistant Director / Veterinary Assistant Surgeon / Veterinary Extension Officer under the Animal Husbandry & Dairy Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. If you hold a B.V.Sc. degree and are registered with the MP State Veterinary Council, this is a solid opportunity to get a permanent state government job in Madhya Pradesh. Eligibility Criteria for MPPSC Veterinary 2026

Educational Qualification

  • B.V.Sc. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) degree from any recognised university/institution in India approved under the Indian Veterinary Council Act
  • Must be registered with the Madhya Pradesh State Veterinary Council (Rojgar Panjeeyan) as per the notification date. Candidates from other states must get their registration transferred to MP before the last date.

What is the Salary for MPPSC Veterinary Posts 2026?

Selected candidates will be appointed in Rajpatrit (Gazetted) Class II category with the following pay structure:

  • Pay Band: ₹15,600 – ₹39,100
  • Grade Pay: ₹5,400
  • Gross Salary: Approximately ₹56,100 – ₹1,05,000 per month (including DA and other allowances as per 7th Pay Commission)

In-hand salary after deductions is expected to be in the range of ₹45,000 – ₹85,000 per month depending on posting location and allowances.

What is the Selection Process for MPPSC Veterinary 2026?

Selection is based on a single-stage written examination followed by document verification:

Stage 1: Written Examination (OMR-Based)

  • Type: Objective (Multiple Choice Questions)
  • Mode: Offline — OMR sheet based
  • Marking: Negative marking applicable. For every wrong answer, 1/3rd marks will be deducted.
  • Minimum qualifying marks: Candidates must score minimum marks in the exam as per MPPSC rules. Equal marks will also get at least 3 same-scored candidates shortlisted.
