Educational Qualification
- Senior Scientist and Head: Doctoral degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Fisheries, Community Science, Horticulture or Sericulture with 8 years of experience.
- Subject Matter Specialist: Master’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science or Fisheries Science from a recognised University.
- Farm Manager and Programme Assistant (Lab. Technician): Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Fishery Science, Horticulture or Community Science.
- Programme Assistant (Computer): Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Application or Information Technology.
- Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with 5 years of experience in Accounts and establishment.
- Stenographer Grade-III: Bachelor’s degree with working knowledge of computers (dictation test at 80 w.p.m.).
- Driver: HSLC pass with a valid driving licence for heavy and light vehicles and 2 years of driving experience.
- Supporting Staff Grade-I: Matriculation or ITI pass.
A computer or IT graduate can apply for the Programme Assistant (Computer) post.

Age is counted as on 1 January 2026. There is no upper age limit for in-service AAU candidates.

What is the Selection Process for AAU Non-Teaching 2026?

Skill / Practical Test
For the Stenographer Grade-III post, candidates take a dictation test at 80 words per minute and transcribe it on a computer.
