Eligibility Criteria for BEL Kotdwara Recruitment
Candidates must fulfill the following educational and age criteria as on 01.12.2025.
Educational Qualification
1. Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT):
- Qualification: 3 Years Diploma in Engineering from a recognized Institution.
- Disciplines: Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical.
- Minimum Marks: 60% aggregate for General/EWS/OBC, 50% aggregate for SC/PwBD.
2. Technician ‘C’:
- Qualification: SSLC + ITI + One Year Apprenticeship (NAC) OR SSLC + 3 Years National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).
- Trades: Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Machinist.
- Minimum Marks: 60% aggregate for General/EWS/OBC, 50% aggregate for SC/ST/PwBD.

Salary and Pay Scale

- Pay Scale (After Training): ₹ 24,500 – 3% – ₹ 90,000/- + Allowances (Grade WG-VII/CP-VI).
- Technician ‘C’:
- Pay Scale: ₹ 21,500 – 3% – ₹ 82,000/- + Allowances (Grade WG-IV/CP-V).
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) held at Dehradun & Haldwani.
- Part I: General Aptitude (50 Marks): Mental ability, logical reasoning, analytical skills, basic numeracy, etc.
- Part II: Technical Aptitude (100 Marks): Technical/Professional knowledge in respective discipline.
- Total Marks: 150
- Qualifying Marks: 35% for General/OBC/EWS, 30% for SC/ST/PwBD in both parts separately.
