NET is not required in a discipline where NET is not conducted. Items marked Desirable in the notice, such as a Ph.D. for the junior scientist posts, work experience in the subject, computer knowledge or, for Head Clerk, 3 years as Junior Clerk, give you an edge but are not essential. Which post fits you? A fresh M.Sc. (Ag.) holder with NET is best placed for the junior scientist posts at Academic Level 10, starting at ₹57,700. A B.Sc.
