Canara Bank Apprentice Vacancy 2026: How Many Seats Are There in Each State?
The Bank says the number of training seats is provisional and may change with its actual requirement. You can choose training seats in only ONE State. Inside that State you give a preference order for all districts, but allotment depends on need and seat availability, and the Bank can place you in any district of the selected State.

What is the Eligibility for Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026?

Please notice one unusual point. The notice asks for a degree to be eligible, but the minimum marks and the merit ranking are both taken from your 12th or Diploma marks, not your graduation marks. The age limit is 20 to 28 years as on 01.09.2026, which means you must be born not earlier than 02.09.1998 and not later than 01.09.2006. The maximum age applies to General and EWS candidates.

What is the Salary (Stipend) for Canara Bank Apprentice 2026?
The notification fixes a monthly stipend of ₹16,650, including the Govt. of India subsidy amount, if any.

Apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances or benefits, and the stipend is paid monthly after adjusting any Loss of Pay. You get 12 Casual Leaves in a year (at most 4 at a time), work the hours of the Bank’s clerical cadre, and receive a NATS-joint certificate after completing training. PF, ESI and Bonus do not apply, and the Bank has no obligation to offer regular employment during or after training.
