GRSE Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure they meet the specified eligibility criteria as of 01 May 2025 for the post they are applying for.

Educational Qualification:

  • Supervisor (S-3 Grade) (Import & Export): Graduate in any Discipline with valid ‘H’ / ‘G’ card holder (CBLR Regulation 13 Qualified). 
  • Design Assistant (S-2 Grade) (Hull & Hull Outfit/FDG): Diploma in Civil Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent. 
  • Design Assistant (S-2 Grade) (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 
  • Supervisor (S-2 Grade) (Digital Branding): Graduate with Diploma/PG Diploma (min 1 year) in Computer/IT/Networking etc. OR BCA/BCS OR B.Sc. in Computer Application/CS/IT. 
  • Supervisor (S-1 Grade) (HR & Admin): Graduate with Diploma/PG Diploma (min 1 year) in HRM/HRD/IR/Labour Welfare etc. OR BBA/BBM. Requires 60% marks in both. 
  • Supervisor (S-1 Grade) (Office Management): Diploma (min 2 years) in Modern Office Practice and Management/Modern Office Management/Modern Office Practice with 60% marks.

GRSE Supervisor Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates will be offered an attractive remuneration package. The pay scales are IDA (Industrial Dearness Allowance) pattern.

Approximate CTC per annum:

  • Supervisor (S-4) – Fixed Term: Rs. 8.72 Lakhs approx. 
  • Supervisor (S-3) – Permanent: Rs. 8.71 Lakhs approx. 
  • Supervisor (S-3) – Fixed Term: Rs. 8.22 Lakhs approx. 
  • Design Assistant (S-2) – Permanent / Supervisor (S-2) – Permanent: Rs. 8.11 Lakhs approx. 
  • Supervisor (S-1) – Permanent / Engine Technician (S-1) – Permanent / Design Assistant (S-1) – Permanent: Rs. 7.51 Lakhs approx. 
  • Supervisor (S-1) – Fixed Term / Design Assistant (S-1) – Fixed Term: Rs. 7.08 Lakhs approx. 

In addition to Basic Pay, candidates are entitled to Industrial DA, HRA, other perks @ 35% of Basic Pay, CPF, Performance Related Pay (PRP), etc., as per Company’s Rules. 

GRSE Selection Process 2025

The selection process for GRSE recruitment will primarily involve:

  1. Written Test:
    • Screening based on experience, marks, etc., may be done for shortlisting for the written test. 
    • The test will be held in Kolkata and Ranchi (test centers may change). No TA will be paid for appearing. 
    • Pattern of Written Test:
      • Duration: 02 Hours.
      • Language: Bi-lingual (English & Hindi).
      • Type: Objective type with Multiple Choice Questions.
      • Part-A (20 Questions, 20 Marks): General Knowledge, Aptitude, Mental ability, Data analysis, English, Numerical ability & Reasoning (10th Standard). 
      • Part-B (80 Questions, 80 Marks): Discipline related. 
      • Total: 100 Questions, 100 Marks.
      • Qualifying Marks: Overall 50% for UR/EWS and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD. 
    • Subjects for Part-B will vary based on the post/discipline. For posts with multiple disciplines in essential qualification, separate question papers will be set, and merit will be based on percentile scores. 
  2. Practical (Trade) Test:
    • Shortlisted candidates from the Written Test will be called for the Practical (Trade) Test. 
    • This test will be of qualifying nature
    • The areas for the practical test will be specific to the job role and discipline (e.g., 3D modeling for Design Assistants, workshop practices for Mechanical Supervisors, etc.). 
    • Qualifying marks in the selection test including Practical Test (which is qualifying) is 50% for UR/EWS and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD. 

Document verification will be conducted before the Practical (Trade) Test.

    • Applications must be submitted ONLINE through the ‘Career section’ of the GRSE website or directly at this ink. No offline/manual applications will be accepted. 
    • Candidates eligible for multiple posts must apply separately for each. 
    • Ensure you have a valid e-mail ID, which should remain active for at least one year. 
    • Upload scanned copies of necessary documents (Educational qualification, Caste, Date of Birth, etc.). 
  2. Hard Copy Submission:
    • After submitting the online application, take a printout of the auto-generated filled-in Application Format. 
    • Put your signature at the designated places. 
    • Send the signed application along with self-attested copies of relevant testimonials (Caste, PwBD, Date of Birth, Educational Qualification, Experience) to: Post Box No. 3076, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 This must be sent through ORDINARY POST only to reach by 18 June 2025
    • Superscribe the envelope with “GRSE EN No. 2025/04 (S)” and “Post (Discipline) applied for”. 
  3. For Government/PSU Employees:
    • Submit applications through the proper channel. If sending an advance copy, a “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) from the employer is required at the time of document verification.
