Eligibility Criteria – IIT BHU Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualification

The qualification is different for each post. The key requirements are given below — always check the official notification for the exact qualification and experience for your chosen post.

  • Assistant Registrar: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks plus 5 years of relevant administrative experience.
  • Technical Officer / Senior Technical Officer: relevant B.Tech/M.Tech (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil or allied) or a Master’s in Science, with the required experience.
  • Librarian / Deputy / Assistant Librarian: Master’s in Library Science with relevant experience (NET cleared for Assistant Librarian).
  • System Analyst / Executive Engineer / Sports & Hindi Officers: relevant degree in the concerned field with the notified experience.

Most posts suit experienced engineering graduates and post-graduates.

What is the Salary for IIT BHU Non-Teaching Posts 2026?
