Indian Army NCC Special Entry 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • You must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognised university.
  • You must have an NCC ‘C’ Certificate with a minimum ‘B’ grade. A graduate with an NCC background is exactly who this entry is for.
  • You must have served a minimum of 2 to 3 years in the Senior Division / Wing of the NCC.
  • Wards of Battle Casualties are exempted from the NCC ‘C’ Certificate requirement.

What is the Salary for Indian Army NCC Special Entry 2026?

An Army officer’s career offers a strong pay package along with respect, adventure and lifelong benefits.

  • Training Stipend: ₹56,100 per month during training at OTA
  • Rank on Commission: Lieutenant, Pay Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500)

Shortlisting on Bonus Marks

SSB Interview

Shortlisted candidates attend the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, a 5-day two-stage process held at Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru or Jalandhar. It tests your officer-like qualities.
