Comprehensive Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Barauni Jobs

- Codes 101 and 103: 3 years B.Sc with Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry. A B.Sc candidate may apply for only one of code 101 or code 103.
- Codes 105 and 107: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engg. (105) or in the Instrumentation branches listed for code 107. Diploma holders admitted through the lateral-entry scheme (Class XII (Sc.) or ITI admitted to the 2nd year) are also eligible if they meet the percentage on the aggregate of all semesters.
- Not eligible: qualifications obtained through part-time, correspondence or distance education; candidates holding higher professional qualifications such as BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB or MCA (or pursuing one and completing it on or before joining); engineering graduates, diploma or vocational certificate holders with one year or more of job experience after the qualification; and candidates who have completed five years since acquiring the prescribed qualification as on 30.11.2026.
- Earlier apprenticeship: allowed in a different trade/discipline only after a gap of at least one year from completion. Candidates whose earlier contract ended through their own failure to carry out its terms are not eligible. Bring originals with a self-attested copy of: the 10th/Matriculation certificate (date of birth proof); the CGPA/OGPA/letter-grade conversion certificate, if applicable; a Principal’s certificate giving the result publication date (if not on the marksheet), regular full-time mode of study and good conduct; the SC/ST/Disability/OBC(NCL) certificate with Declaration, or the EWS Income & Asset Certificate, in the prescribed format; a print of your NATS/NAPS portal registration; the Annexure-A affidavit; and one original Photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Driving Licence or Passport).
- Stage 3: Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness: Only candidates declared fit in the pre-engagement medical examination, under the minimum physical fitness standards of the Apprentices Act, are considered. Finally shortlisted candidates whose documents and medical fitness certificate are in order are issued the offer of engagement.
Filling of seats is at the management’s discretion, and no claim arises if seats stay unfilled because of unsuitability or too few candidates. Candidature is provisional and subject to verification of certificates at every stage.
