  • PA-I, PS-I & PS-B: 35 years

Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will be offered a competitive salary package along with other benefits. The emoluments for each post are as follows:

Project Scientist-B₹56,000 + HRA (with a 5% increment every two years)
Project Associate-I₹31,000 + HRA
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)₹37,000 + HRA (with a possible increase to ₹42,000 as SRF after two years)

Note: House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be provided at the prescribed rates if accommodation is not provided. The positions are also eligible for medical benefits for the individual as per NRSC/ISRO rules.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates for these temporary research positions will be based on their academic performance and a personal interview. The process will involve the following stages:

  1. Screening of Applications: Applications will be screened based on the eligibility criteria.
  2. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their academic records and other parameters decided by NRSC.
  3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The call letters for the interview will be sent via email only.
