Educational Qualification
Category-I needs an AICTE-recognised BE/B.Tech and Category-II a Diploma from a recognised Board or University. Read both columns — the Diploma mapping is not identical to the BE mapping.

Pass-Out Year and NATS Registration
- Passed out in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025 only — current students are not eligible.

Medical Standards
Carry a medical fitness certificate signed by a Government doctor not below Assistant Surgeon rank, with the eye section certified by an Ophthalmologist. The notification prints two proformas — carry the one matching your stream.

Only two standards actually disqualify people: no hearing aid is permitted and colour vision must be present (with 6/9, 6/12 acuity). Check the proforma for the rest; you pay for the test.

The notification words these as the Government of India share paid directly by DBT, then says KRCL “will pay balance 50% of Establishment’s share of stipend” against the very same figures. It prints no combined total, so we are not computing one — confirm the credited amount at DV. You need a bank account in your own name and a PAN card, kept Aadhaar-linked till training ends; lodging and boarding are your own arrangement.

Land-loser preference applies irrespective of the percentage of land lost, and the eligible list is exhaustive — land loser, spouse, son, unmarried daughter, paternal grandson and paternal unmarried granddaughter. No other relation counts.
How to Apply for KRCL Apprentice 2026: Walk-In Step-by-Step Guide
KRCL has opened no application link and set no last date — but the compulsory NATS registration is itself an online step, so do it first.
- Register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal and get your NATS ID approved before your date.
- Find your stream’s day in the Important Dates table below.
- Get your medical certificate (B1 or C1) from an authorised Government doctor.
- Reach the Navi Mumbai venue between 09:00 and 12:00 hrs and hand over your documents.
Carry originals plus one self-attested photocopy set — the ones with consequences being all mark sheets and the degree/diploma certificate, the 10th certificate as date-of-birth proof, domicile, the caste certificate in Central Government employment format with the Tehsildar OBC-NCL certificate, Aadhaar and PAN, the Gazette notification if you changed your name, and the Tehsildar income certificate or minority affidavit for the fee waiver.
EWS candidates, note the consequence. The Income and Asset Certificate must be produced on the Document Verification date. If it is not, your EWS claim is not entertained at all and you are considered under General (UR) only.
Land losers also need the SLAO land loser certificate, the prescribed Tehsildar certificate, relationship proof from Revenue authorities, the legal heir and death certificate if the land loser has died, and RTC land papers (7/12, Form No. XIV) of the acquisition year — recently dated documents are refused.
