Eligibility Criteria for MDL Apprentice Recruitment 2025
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility norms as on 01.03.2026.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice (Engineering): Degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute.
- Graduate Apprentice (General Stream): Degree in B.Com, B.B.A, B.C.A, or B.S.W from a recognized University.
- Diploma Apprentice: Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline from a recognized Board/University.
- Note: Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination on or after 01 April 2021.
Age Limit (as on 01.03.2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 27 Years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC (NCL): 3 Years
- PwD: 10 Years
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a merit list prepared from the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and an interview.

- Educational Qualification: 80%
- Interview: 20%
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and interview at MDL, Mumbai.
