Educational Qualification
The qualification is different for each post. The requirement for every post is given below — always read the official notification for the exact details and experience.
- Principal Designer (3 posts): Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Design, with at least 10 years of experience in the relevant design field.
- Faculty (4 posts): Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Design (3 years, after 10+2), with at least 5 years of relevant design experience.
- Senior Accounts Officer (1 post): Master’s degree in Commerce or Financial Management, or CA (or equivalent), with at least 5 years of relevant accounts experience.
- Senior Assistant Librarian (1 post): Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Information Science, with library automation experience and 5 years’ service as Assistant Librarian.
- Assistant (2 posts): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university, plus basic computer knowledge. No prior experience is required — so any normal graduate can apply.
- Associate Senior Technical Instructor (2 posts): Bachelor’s Degree or a 3-year Diploma in a relevant engineering or design field, with 4 years (degree) or 6 years (diploma) of experience.
- Associate Senior Design Instructor (2 posts): Bachelor’s Degree or a 3-year Diploma in a relevant design or engineering field, with 4 years (degree) or 6 years (diploma) of experience.
- Design Instructor (2 posts): Bachelor’s Degree or a 3-year Diploma in a relevant design field, with 2 years (degree) or 4 years (diploma) of experience.
- Technical Instructor (2 posts): Bachelor’s Degree or a 3-year Diploma in a relevant design or technical field, with 2 years (degree) or 4 years (diploma) of experience.
- Technical Assistant (3 posts): A 1-year ITI (NCVT/SCVT) trade certificate, or a 3-year Diploma, in the relevant trade, with 4 years (certificate) or 2 years (diploma) of experience.

What is the Salary for NID AP Non-Teaching Posts 2026?
The posts are paid under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix, from Level 4 up to Level 13, along with allowances as per rules.
