Eligibility Criteria for OSSC CGL Recruitment
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions as on 01.01.2025.
Educational Qualification
- Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
- Computer Proficiency: Must have computer knowledge (Internet, Email, Word Processing, Data Analysis, Presentation).
- Language: Must be able to read, write, and speak Odia fluently and have passed Middle School/HSC with Odia as a subject.

OSSC CGL Salary Structure

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The OSSC CGL 2025 selection process comprises three stages:
Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (150 Marks)
- Mode: OMR or CBRE (Computer Based).
- Duration: 150 Minutes.
- Subjects: Arithmetic (10th Std), Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Current Events, Computer/Internet Awareness.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Stage 2: Main Written Examination (200 Marks)
- Paper-I: Language (Odia & English) – 100 Marks.
- Paper-II: General Studies – 100 Marks.
