Educational Qualification
- Assistant Manager (Civil): Full-Time B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with not less than 60% marks.
 - Assistant Manager (Electrical): Full-Time B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical & Electronics/ Power Systems & High Voltage/ Power Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control/ Electronics, Instrumentation & Control from a recognized University/Institute with not less than 60% marks.
 - Assistant Manager (Mechanical): Full-Time B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Engineering/ Mechanical & Automation/ Production & Industrial Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with not less than 60% marks.
 - Senior Medical Officer: MBBS from an institute recognized by the Medical Council of India, along with Registration in the Medical Council of India.
 
Experience
- For all Assistant Manager Posts: 04 years of Post Qualification Experience in the Executive/Officer cadre. This must include at least 03 years in the immediate lower grade/scale (IDA: Rs. 50,000-1,80,000) or an equivalent level.
 - For Senior Medical Officer: 05 years of Post Qualification experience in medical services. Internship training will not be counted as experience.
 
Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)
- Assistant Manager (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical): 35 years
 - Senior Medical Officer: 37 years
 - Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBDs/Ex-Servicemen will be provided as per Government of India directives.
 
Salary and Benefits
This THDC recruitment offers an excellent compensation package. Selected candidates will be placed in the E-3 Grade in the pay scale of Rs. 60,000-3%-1,80,000 (IDA).
This pay scale means your minimum basic pay will be Rs. 60,000 per month, with a 3% annual increment. But the total salary is much more. On top of your Basic Pay, you will receive:

Selection Process Explained

For Assistant Manager (All Disciplines)
- Screening Test: If a large number of applications are received, THDCIL may conduct a screening test to shortlist candidates. This test will be qualifying in nature (50% for UR/EWS/OBC and 40% for reserved categories). Marks from this test will not be used for the final merit list.
 - Personal Interview: Candidates shortlisted (based on application or screening test) will be called for a Personal Interview.
 
The final merit list will be prepared based 100% on the marks obtained in the Personal Interview.
For Senior Medical Officer
- There will be no screening test for this post.
 - Selection will be based directly on performance in the Personal Interview.
 
The qualifying marks for the Personal Interview are 50% for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 40% for SC/ST/PwBDs.
