Age is reckoned as on 1 July 2026. Minimum is 18 years — 22 for Probation Officer, 20 for Sub Registrar Grade-II, 25 for Executive Officer Grade III.

A few posts allow more — DCTO with a Law degree (34) and Jailor with a Master’s in Criminology and Criminal Justice Administration or in Social Work (37). Deputy Commercial Tax Officer is the exception to the open limit — for SC, SC(A), ST, MBC, DC, BC and BCM candidates its maximum age is 37 (39 with a Law degree), not unlimited.
