What Documents to Carry for the Union Bank SO & GBO Descriptive Exam 2026?
- The call letter with your recent passport-size photograph pasted on it (the same photograph you uploaded), a photocopy of your photo ID stapled to it, and the original currently valid photo ID. Ration Card and Learner’s Driving Licence are not accepted.
- Your name on the call letter must match your photo ID exactly. If it does not, you will not be allowed to appear. A changed name is accepted only with a Gazette notification, marriage certificate or affidavit.
- A ball-point pen. Rough sheets are provided, and you must hand them in before leaving, with your registration number, roll number, name and exam date written on them.
- Your Aadhaar Card for Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication. Biometric (right thumb), iris (left eye) and photograph are captured at the venue, so reach well ahead of the reporting time. Late comers will not be allowed.
- Mobile phones, calculators, watches, books, notes and other electronic devices are not allowed. Breaking the rules leads to disqualification, and unfair means can mean a permanent or time-bound debarment from Bank examinations.
No travelling allowance or other expenses are paid for the examination. Candidates are also advised to note the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.
