APSSB CHSL Final Result 2026: What Does the Notice Say?
- The list gives each candidate’s roll number, name, category, date of birth, total marks, post allotted and department allotted. Search your own roll number in the PDF.
- The recommended candidates are listed in one combined merit list, highest marks first (186 at the top), with the PwBD and Ex-Servicemen recommendations at the end.
- Wait-lists are printed post-code-wise after the main list (UR, APST and PwBD).
- The notice is signed by the Secretary cum Controller of Examinations, APSSB, and says the result is also available on apssb.nic.in.
How Many Candidates Are Recommended for Each Post?
The notice prints no totals table. The post-wise counts in the table of this update are our tally of the recommended list in the notice, set against the vacancy table of the Provisional Result Notice dated 27 September 2026 (211 posts in all).

Ten vacancies are unfilled. Note 1 of the notice says that 4 vacancies of Laboratory Assistant (21/26), 2 PwBD vacancies of Lower Division Clerk (22/26) and 4 Ex-Servicemen vacancies could not be filled for want of eligible candidates, so no wait-list is kept for Laboratory Assistant or for Ex-Servicemen.
Why Is the Vacancy Total 211 and Not 207?
The advertisement of 9 June 2026 gave 207 posts. The Provisional Result Notice of 27 September 2026 lists 211 (APST 165, Unreserved 46), because it adds 4 Unreserved LDC posts under DC West Kameng. The final list fills all 4 of them. We use 211 as the latest figure. The notice gives no reason for the change.
What Should Recommended Candidates Remember?
- The word used is provisionally recommended. Note 2 says the appointing (indenting/user) department verifies character and antecedents, the authenticity of documents and eligibility under the Recruitment Rules before appointing anyone.
- It adds that provisional recommendation gives no right of appointment unless the appointing authority is satisfied the candidate is suitable in all respects.

The 56 60 LDC seats are spread across 15 departments — including Election (7), PHE & Water Supply (9, all reserved for PwBD candidates), PWD (8), Rural Works (6), Health Services (5), Prosecution (5), TRIHMS (4) and DC West Kameng (4, added in the Provisional Result Notice). Across all posts, PwBD candidates have 15 reserved seats and Ex-Servicemen 4 (horizontal, within the total). What is the Eligibility for APSSB CHSL 2026?
Educational Qualification
The base qualification for every post is Class 12 (10+2) pass from a recognized board — but the stream and extras differ by post:
- Stockman, Laboratory Assistant, Agriculture Field Assistant (Jr): Class XII with Science (for Laboratory Assistant, a Diploma in Laboratory Technology is desirable, not essential)
- Fishery Demonstrator: Class XII Science with Biology as a subject
- Field Assistant: Class XII with Mathematics or Geography, OR Class XII in any subject plus a Survey course from a Government-recognized ITI
- LDC, DEO, Junior Secretariat Assistant: Class XII in any stream, plus computer typing speed of 35 WPM (10,500 key depressions per hour), plus a minimum 6-month Diploma in Computer Application recognized by APCTE/AICTE
- Record Keeper/Record Clerk: Class XII plus a 1-year Diploma in Computer Application
- LDC under Sainik Welfare: must be an Ex-Serviceman with at least 10 years’ service as a Combatant, preferably as Clerk
Every 12th-pass job seeker should note the DCA diploma requirement carefully — without the recognized computer diploma, you are not eligible for the clerical posts.

Age is counted as on the closing date (10 August 2026) and varies by post:
