Eligibility Criteria for Rifleman (GD) Sports Quota
1. Educational Qualification
- Must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) from a recognized Board.
2. Sports Qualification
Candidates must be Meritorious Sportspersons who have participated in:
- International Competitions.
- Senior/Junior National Championships.
- Inter-University Tournaments.
- Khelo India Games (Youth/Winter/University).
- National School Games.
Note: Preference is given to medal winners (Gold/Silver/Bronze) and International participants.
3. Age Limit (As on 01 Jan 2026)
The standard age for Rifleman GD is 18-23 years. However, special age relaxation is given for Sports Quota recruitment:
- Gen / OBC: 18 to 28 Years (5 Years Relaxation).
- SC / ST: 18 to 33 Years (10 Years Relaxation).
Physical Standards Test (PST)
Candidates must meet the physical requirements to clear the first stage of the rally.

Selection Process: Step-by-Step

- Final Merit List: Prepared based on the marks obtained in Field Trials and the level of sports achievement.
