Eligibility Criteria — CCRUM 2026

Educational Qualification
- Research Officer (Unani): Post Graduate degree in the Unani System of Medicine and enrolment on the Central Register.
- Staff Nurse: Nursing qualification with registration as per rules.

Age Limit
The maximum age is different for each post. For example, Research Officer up to 40 years, Staff Nurse up to 35 years, Pharmacist and Radiographer 18 to 25 years, and MTS 18 to 27 years. Standard age relaxation applies for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD and other reserved categories as per government rules.
What is the Salary for CCRUM 2026 Posts?
The posts carry good 7th Pay Commission salaries based on the Pay Level of each post.
- Research Officer: Pay Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500)
- Staff Nurse / Assistant Research Officer: Pay Level 7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400)
- Investigator / Library Assistant / Hindi Assistant: Pay Level 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)
- Pharmacist / Social Worker / Radiographer: Pay Level 5 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300)
- UDC and lower posts: Pay Level 4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100) and below

What is the Selection Process for CCRUM 2026?
Selection is done through an online Computer Based Test (CBT), with an interview or skill test for certain posts.
Group A Posts (Research Officers)
Selection is through an online CBT of 70 marks followed by an Interview of 30 marks.
Group B & C Posts
Selection is based on an online CBT of 100 marks, plus a Skill Test wherever required (for example, typing test for LDC, shorthand test for Stenographer, and driving test for Staff Car Driver).
There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer (except for MTS). Reviewing the exam syllabus and preparation strategy will help you prepare better.
