Educational Qualification
- Technical Officer (TO-01): M.Sc. in Hospitality Administration / Hospitality Management with minimum 55% marks
- Technician (TE-01): 10th Standard with Science (55%) + ITI / National / State Trade Certificate in Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant) OR 2 years apprenticeship OR 3 years work experience in the trade
- Technician (TE-02): 10th + Science (55%) + ITI / Trade Certificate in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) OR 2 years apprenticeship OR 3 years experience
- Technician (TE-03): 10th + Science (55%) + ITI / Trade Certificate in Food Production / Patisserie OR 2 years apprenticeship OR 3 years experience
- Driver (D-01): Class 10 pass + valid driving licence for LMV and HMV + knowledge of motor mechanism + 3 years driving experience (must be acquired AFTER obtaining the licence)
For ITI-trade candidates, the three Technician trades open three direct entry routes. Note: the Driver post is not identified as suitable for Persons with Benchmark Disability.

Standard CSIR / DoPT relaxation: 5 years for SC, 3 years for OBC, 10 / 13 / 15 years for PwBD by category, and Ex-Servicemen / departmental candidates as per rules. Widows / divorced / judicially separated women: up to 35 (UR / OBC / EWS) or 40 (SC / ST).

The figure shown is the approximate total emoluments at the minimum of the scale, including DA, HRA, TA and other admissible allowances. New entrants are governed by the National Pension System (NPS).

For Technical Officer (TO-01)
- Trade Test — by the Selection Committee in relevant subjects
- Competitive Written Examination — OMR / CBT, English & Hindi medium, three papers across 200 questions / 3 hours: Paper-I Mental Ability (50 Q × 2 = 100 marks, 1 hour); Paper-II General Awareness (25 Q × 3 = 75) + English (25 Q × 3 = 75), 30 min; Paper-III Concerned Subject — Hospitality (100 Q × 3 = 300 marks, 90 min).
- Final merit on Paper-II + Paper-III only (Paper-I is qualifying)
For Technician (TE-01 / TE-02 / TE-03)
- Trade Test — relevant ITI trade
- Competitive Written Examination — 150 questions, 2.5 hours, three papers (Mental Ability + General Awareness / English + Concerned Subject)
- Final merit on Paper-II + Paper-III only
For Driver (D-01)
- Skill Test (qualifying)
- Competitive Written Examination — 100 questions × 3 marks each = 300 marks, 90 min, four sections (General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, English)
- Medical Fitness — required for Driver
